Resources to Help Talk You About Social Cruelty

To all Teen Educators and community members who attended this week’s Teen Network meeting:  THANK YOU FOR A GREAT SESSION! All of your insight and questions were so compelling!

For those who weren’t able to attend, here’s a quick re-cap: Gloria Moskowitz-Sweet from Parents Place (at JFCS) provided us with new language and tools for identifying and overcoming Social Cruelty with our teens. We learned the difference between Social Cruelty and teasing along with how teasing can develop into Social Cruelty.  Gloria shared resources with the group to add to our toolbox. A few of the resources she shared were anti-bullying ads, found on YouTube. Here are a few of those videos:
