J-Serve 2011, the National Jewish Teen Day of Service. J-Serve is a one-day service event taking place around the country on Sunday, April 17, 2011. It is a fantastic opportunity for Jewish teens and the professionals that serve them to participate in a day of community service and learning together.
Here in the Bay Area we are hoping to engage over 250 Jewish teens in service projects around the region, and then bring them all together for a huge celebration of service and Jewish values.
In order to make this day a success, we want to bring together every Jewish teen program, high school, and potential service project partner we know of to help plan the event. Whether you have a group of teens interested in service, a “shovel ready” project just waiting on volunteers, or an educational program focused on Jewish values and service, there is a role for you and your group in J-Serve!
In order to include as many organizations as possible, we are hosting a Partners Conference Call to let everyone know more about J-Serve’s service and learning objective, and how you and your teens can play a role. Please fill out the following survey so we can pick a date/time that works for most of us: http://www.doodle.com/a7cpqv9nmp2im5qz, and feel free to forward this email to any other professionals you think may be interested.
