In this workshop for educators you will:
– gain new awareness about how adultism operates in society and in your daily lives.
– have a chance to reflect on adultist practices in a welcoming environment and brainstorm how to help
– Improve your relationships with young people
The workshop will include reflective activities, games, discussions, take home handouts and messages for you to bring the understanding of adultism into your every day work and life.
When: Sunday March 6th 11am-1pm
Where: 1300 Grand Ave, Piedmont. Wheelchair accessible.
This workshop will be co-facilitated by young people currently in the education system and who are members of Jewish Youth for Community Action (JYCA). Come support JYCA’s activism!
